Responsible use

Website cloning is useful for authorized rebuilding, prototyping, migration, and design study. It should not be used to mislead people or take content you do not have permission to use.

Good uses

Use CloneAny on your own pages, licensed templates, client work with permission, or public references where your final implementation replaces protected copy, imagery, and branding with material you can use.

Prohibited uses

CloneAny accepts public HTTP or HTTPS destinations only and removes source scripts, form submission behavior, and executable URLs from generated static artifacts.

  • Phishing, impersonation, or deceptive replicas
  • Bypassing authentication, paywalls, robots controls, or network restrictions
  • Publishing private information, malware, or content that violates another party’s rights

Review before publishing

A technically accurate clone can still contain names, claims, images, or marks you should not publish. Replace source content, test interactions and accessibility, and review the result as you would any code entering your product.
